Who knew that dinosaurs were such fans of cauliflower?!
This amazing vegetable arrived in our organic box today, and since I promised I post to show off my newly decorated dinosaurs last week, I couldn't resist doing so with a dramatic cauliflower backdrop.
Still to come this week: mustard scones and pumpkin and carrot loaf cake.
brocliflower, that's a great name for it. It's called Romanesco Cauliflower here, which is really boring. We had it in Thai curry last night and it was delicious. I might try just steaming what's left tonight to get it on it's own. Hmm *ponders..*
I'm a book-obsessed baker who dreams of building a jam empire from a farm shop on a small holding. For now, I'm holding out with my cats, my lovely handsome man, a cup of tea and Test Match Special. Pop by and say hello...

That looks what we call brociflower. It's a nice cross between cauliflower and broccoli. Mmmm...brociflower.
